Why? Because the EU needs to keep its promises and take its responsibility in the fight against HIV and Aids.
We ask the EU to keep its promises and to show global leadership in the following areas:
1) Prevention
Every man, woman and child must have access to education and prevention measures for HIV and Aids. This should be a basic right for every child in the world.
2) Care
The EU has to make more money available for communities which are affected by HIV and Aids. The goal is to protect, feed and care victims of HIV and Aids, especially the orphans and children at risk.
3)Treatment
The EU has to work hard, politically as well as financially, to give all people with HIV and Aids access to treatment. This goal has to be reached by 2010.
